Robbie Donno, founder of Gift of Life presented our program.
Gift of Life is now 30 years old – they have 11 hospitals in India – Ravishanka Bhooplapur from Great Neck Rotary was instrumental in achieving this. 5 hospitals in China with more in Kiev, Italy, Moscow and the Phillipines. There have been 5,000 children operated on – the goal is 30,000 children over the next 10 years. The Gift of Life has become an international organization & it is attracting major donors & they are contemplating donations of 7 figures. On May 2nd there is a walk for the Gift of Life children & this will be worldwide, helping to teach stewardship and service. We may not be able to change the whole world but we can change an individual’s life & their family. Robbie Donno & Alex of LVR are organising a cruise for Gift of Life. The travel company will donate 30% of every booking. The Moscow & St Petersburg 12 day river cruise. It includes all meals, Captains welcome reception, full sightseeing programs, Russian Folklore shows & on board entertainment. Most importantly you will meet doctors from Bakulau Hospital and children who have been saved & meet Russian Rotarians. The cruise price starts from $1995 USD.
